Oooh, I'd have to agree with Lbc, the bond game (everything or nothing) was pretty damn good. I was really impressed. The multiplayer's story was kinda shady, but it played real well.
My co-worker and I went home everyday and played it during lunch.

thanks
Freedom Fighters is good. So are James Bond. Try the original red faction that is really good. What else...Turok. Terrible FPS but the multiplayer is good.
Just a tip: Get a multi-tap they are well worth the money.
The network adapter is not worth the money, for sub-par online gameplay. Xbox is so much better, as far as online play. I think it is better to just buy a multi-tap and play with six or seven friends.

I find that Xbox online isn't that great and only has 2 games good for it in my opinion, Halo2(i don't care for anyway) and battlefront, i recommend battlefront, that doesn't have multitap but good internet

The best multiplayer game on Earth without the internet is TimeSplitters 2, fact, you just can't beat it and you can pick it up really cheap as it is quite old. If you want new then there's Timesplitters Future Perfect with great on and off-line multiplayer and Freedom Fighters is brill too. If you want a beat-um-up then its Soul Caliber 2 every time, football, Pro Evolution Soccer4, car racing Gran Turismo 4 and Red Faction1 & 2 are also great multiplayer. But, there is a game called "Mashed" and theres also "Mashed Fully Loaded" which are essential if you have any friends. A multi-tap, 4 controllers, 3 mates and Timesplitters 2 and Mashed is the perfect reciepe 4 PS2

It depends on what genre you like, FPS, RPG, Uh... whatever GTA is in, and stuff. FPS- Time Splitters: Future Perfect, a good multi-player game online(only for PS2) & offline , though you can't jump... still good though, you can create your own maps, unlock characteers, oh by the way, have i told you that you can choose up to or over 150 characters to play in arcade mode like Deathmatch, TEAM deathmatch and etc...? Co-op story mode is fun too. Battlefield 2 is pretty good, multiplayer may be good for a long time, but single play gets boring... Halo 2 and Killzone are great games too.
RPG - Final Fantasy XI is good for FF fans out there, i know no others... ??? - Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. There are many good multilayer games out there, you just have to research them on the web yourself. Try going to gameinformer.com...

love Future Perfect...best multiplayer PS2 game ever. i also enjoy a good hack & slash like Champions of Norrath or Champions Return to Arms. very good with up to 2 mates offline(do tend to fight over the loot a lot though).

I agree with this one. I ended up trading in the network adapter I bought some time ago. Online gaming kinda sucked on PS2

I also agree with this one. I have both Champions of Norrath and Champions Return To Arms. Both games excellent for multi-players.
