I didn't know that Pylon's Gyrate was reissued this year. I was just loading up tracks from my copy of Pylon's Hits and was lamenting the mastering on it. That was a great band.

Don't make fun of me...but, I was quite pleased to see Green Day's Kerplunk reissued this year. The changes to the sound quality were much appreciated. Oh, and it's their best album.

Lee Perry - Ape-Ology
Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been, Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene; As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be, So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

Time Machine: The Best Of Shack This album didn't even make the top 100 albums chart in the UK when it was released, which pretty much sums it up for one of the country's great unsung bands. It only cost 7 quid in my local cd store, so I've been buying it and giving it to people I know as random presents. Guess what my dad's getting for Xmas?

Those are all GREAT picks, SK. None of which I've picked up yet I'll probably eventually get them all, except the Radiohead, cause I've got all the albums already and to my knowledge they aren't any different (or am I mistaken here?).

I love Kerplunk! That and Dookie are their best albums all around, no doubt. I forgot that it was reissued.
I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor I was back to pondering my mortality.

Only if you are a packaging nut. I am pretty sure they are the same and that the only difference is that the albums come in digi-paks, as opposed to jewel cases.

A large chunk of Amp's catalog got reissued as a three cd set called "All Of Yesterday Tomorrow." I got it and it is fantastic (it shows an interesting growth from their more shoegaze noise elements to spaced-out-bliss experimentation).

That's five, care to put them in order (If not, I'll just put the Joy Division in chronological for you)?

1. Joy Division - Closer/Unknown Pleasures/Still 2. Pulp - Different Class 3. Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn 4. Pylon - Gyrate + 6. Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers I'm boycotting the Radiohead box set for now because EMI is just releasing it out of spite for the band's new marketing and release deals. Not to mention I'm poor and I already own all their albums. I'll probably pick it up used on eBay/Amazon in a year or two though. P.S. If I can only use one Joy Division Album, please use Unknown Pleasures.

That's a great list. I can't wait to get my hands on the Pylon.
