They're in the vanguard of genetically-modified crops. They both moonlight for Monsanto.
Just remember, Peewee, FWIW, you and I were the only posters to give our top spot to White Bread, Black Beer.

What counts as 2007? There are some albums like the Long Blondes' Someone To Drive You Home that I heard specifically this year due to the North American release being in '07 but the UK release was in 2006. Should I or not include them?
Nah, that’s a no-no. Keywords being “officially released.” The albums released here are officially released in the U.S., or someone that lives in U.K. that gets something earlier/later than us, so they count here but not something that won't even be out until 2008.
It’d be like if all of those people that heard the Of Montreal album early last year decided to include it in their 2006 list.
----- If you don't love me, I'm sorry.

You can certainly post a list. It just won't get counted in the final tally unless you meet the eligibility criteria.
As mentioned previously, it's easy to rack up the numbers. You just have to show that you're going to be a real metacritic member... by participating! It shouldn't be work, or hard to do. Check out the Song Tag, What I'm Listening to, CD Covers threads. Or hop over to the movies or books sections and post there. We could use more activity in those quarters (speaking of which, I haven't been there in a while...).

Hey, I'd forgotten that but now I remember. That was so cool, to see a like-minded person. I'll be watching for your list this year... My album of the year is the new James Blunt.

Wait a second, Tweedy, I think you can. I think for In Rainbows, we have to use the worldwide internet release date of October 10, 2007.

Bob - I did eventually get around to getting this after you made me swear on pain of death that I would. (ok, you weren't quite that forceful, but I do still have marks from the duct tape) You were right... I did like it. I'll be keeping my eye on you from now on...

Datarock - s/t was released in Canada this year2007. Yet it was released in 2005!!! I just found out Pitchfork reviewed it in 2005, yet my CD says 2007(two added songs on it)....it may make my Top 20 this year(even though others probably listed it 2 years ago)...
