I would be willing to do Strawberry Jam and/or Challengers if no one else wants them.

I know Il Mago listed two(shins, wilco) but i'd like a take on wilco as well.

I may send you blurbs on Wintersleep(doubt they will make list) PJ Harvey, and Amon TObin....

jayman(formerly The Furnace Is Fiery)

Okay, fixed dibs list:

FKA - Bon Iver, Okkervil River, Panda Bear, Spoon
Mike - Radiohead
Mark - Andrew Bird, Les Savy Fav
me - Iron & Wine, Beirut
SDF - Arcade Fire
L Spencer - Sunset Rubdown
Il Mago - Shins
jayman - Wilco
Eric - Modest Mouse, The National

And I was honestly thinking about giving Icky Thump to Troy. He's been talking about them all year.

Whatever, I didn't realize you were only allowed such a puny write-up anyways. A monkey could sum up a great album in a few generic sentences too....silly Metacritic heirarchy

I have some write-ups on my blog that I could summarize if some users don't want dibs on those albums.

Hey, go ahead and send in a write-up if you want. I didn't say I was GOING to give it to Troy - he hasn't even expressed interest yet. There's going to be competition for certain albums, without a doubt. I'm not going to bar anyone just because of regdate.

I'll do Les Savy Fav, but I was just wondering how I got it in the first place. Did somebody else request it and there was a mix-up?

I'd be really interested to see write ups on the 'most points per vote' albums too...some of these I haven't read anything about all year and it would be really useful to have a description of these albums too!

Attention! We still need writers for:

LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver
Battles - Mirrored
Feist - The Reminder
Burial - Untrue
Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam
M.I.A. - Kala
Jens Lekman - Night Falls Over Kortedala
Josh Ritter - The Historical Conquests...
Arctic Monkeys - Favorite Worst Nightmare
The Field - From Here We Go Sublime
Kanye West - Graduation

I need people to volunteer for these!

I did write-ups for:
Blitzen Trapper, Panda Bear, Sunset Rubdown, Okkervil River, Burial, Iron & Wine, Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, and Of Montreal.

What can I say...Christmas isn't an incredibly busy day.

So do you just want Burial and LCD Soundsystem? I'll send my others too, but not if you're already set on those (and I know some aren't going to matter much - Blitzen trapper probably wont make top 40)

No problem thomyorkeisgod, I was wondering where you went of too. Though I am not the one compiling the write-ups, get in contact with Chamberk, he'll help you out.

And everyone else needs to get over writing for that M.I.A. album, it's not even that good! Big Grin Red Face Big Grin
