18. The Good The Bad & The Queen - The Good The Bad & The Queen
19. Les Savy Fev – Lets Stay Friends
20. Klaxons - Myths Of The Near Future

seems that 13 is not my lucky number after all, cause i still need to make a few changes here, especially between places 11-20.
with high new entries (finally) in my top 20 list from Sunset Rubdown , Burial & Les Savy Fev and with some others fightin hard for their natural position according to my taste in music.

i cant see any change in my top 10 even if some of them are pushing hard (shins , besnard lakes , deerhunter).Only an "emotional make or break" will move things up or down...

outside the top 20 its like a hell with really good albums tryin to find a place inside my top 20 (National , Aliens , White Stripes very close . BRMC , interpol , brett anderson seem to loose the chance n some others such as Handsome Furs , Menomena ,Okkervil River , Patrick Watson maybe will make it when i ll update my 2007 list same time next year!).

I like your list pretty well, Tweedy. What can you tell me about this band?

I have no race prejudices, and I think I have no color prejudices nor caste prejudices nor creed prejudices. All that I care to know is that a man is a human being—that is enough for me; he can't be any worse.

It sounds a bit like Massive attack and Low's the great destroyer-era, but that's not a really fare comparison. I'll describe the music style as rock/ambient/experimental with a shoegaze touch for a couple of songs. It's the perfect album to listen at night when you're tired about the modern way of life. The lyrics are about the love and hate of living in a city. It's a really slow, relaxing and sincere album with great lyrics. Check his myspace page. My fav song of the record is "sound of the city", that's the shoegaze one Cool

Finding some great new music from your list grabblegarr.

1,2 and 3. Never heard of 'em. Now I got some new joys.

Both of those 2 just made my top 10. Can't imagine many others will have both on their list.

But, I can't ignore those really lousy tracks, which detract from the album as a whole. Number 30 might be a little low for Hissing Fauna . . ., but I can't see it cracking the top 20 for me.

Update: Now that my list is almost done, I can quantify this. Under my iPod ranking system, Hissing Fauna . . . comes out at #35 with a 3.500 rating. If, however, you take out Bunny . . ., Fabrege . . ., and Labrynthian . . ., it would be #3 on my list with a 4.333 rating, behind Icky Thump and The Stage Names, but slightly ahead of In Rainbows.

The first of that I've seen on these forums. Good stuff, may make my top 20.
