Interestingly, aside from the last two, I would pick all of those as my favorite on their respective albums. I think "The Lighthouse" is kind of an overlooked song because it's stuck at the end of Interpol's weakest album. I actually think it's a nice, mellow way to close something.

These two almost made my list, especially Mr. Bird.

Yeah I think that this was a pretty arduous but still, pretty fun thing to do. It’s a unique way to make a “Best songs of 2007” compilation album. Sure, you leave out a lot of stuff that you missed or had to trim but it ends up being varied and well, unique.

I will probably make another one sometime soon.
