Why isn't it on the "Upcoming Release" Calendar on Metacritic? I really want to buy it from Zune Marketplace or Yahoo Music, but neither offer the album yet. It's odd, because the new Explosions in the Sky from that same label is already released, and all of the old Eluvium albums are available. I've heard it's incredible, and I really want to get some new avant-garde music!

GET IT, any way you can. It's like its own little world, everything is sequenced perfectly... it may be the most beautiful record I've ever heard. It's not nearly as avant-garde as his other records, it's pretty accessible- I could see my grandma or a baby enjoying it.
As for anticipated releases, March 20 is gonna be liek da best day evar.

Okay, so I was looking for a beautiful record in the new Explosions in the Sky. Its not as optimistic as "The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place" though, as the "Suddenly I Miss Everyone" title would suggest. I guess Copia can fill that void, if those stupid music stores would get it together!
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

Mix a little folly with your plans: It is sweet to be silly at the right moment.
I've heard The Locust's new one. ANTI is being really careful and not sending out promo copies, but they sent me some password protected stream of it where the password changes every day. The record still sounds like The Locust but there are parts that sound VERY different. The first song is nearly seven minutes and has a really slow mid-section that sounds like ISIS or Swans. Some of the vocals are more burly and low end, but you can still expect all of the proggy time changes and Residents style keyboard blasts. I like it.
Man, a good friend of mine used to expose me to artists like The Locust and I just could not handle that style of music. I give them some credit for being original, but my god it's gotta be note-for-note some of the worst stuff I've heard.
