Didn't know where to put this so I apologize if this has been posted before. I was reading through Time best of 07 pop culture blitzkrieg and came across the Daft Hands video. I'm sure a lot of you have seen it (it has almost 11,000,000 million hits). A friend of mine actually sent me a link to the more recent umm... fuller version - daft bodies. Overall a good year for a song that was released in 2001.

Siobhan Donaghy's video for the perfect pop of 'So You Say' is excellent.
The video finds the english songstress strolls through and eerie mansion following a mysterious hooded man. Each time the colossal chorus arrives, she enters a room with strange happenings within. In the first room are birds flying in slow motion, and the next room has floating shards of glass. Finally, she catches up to the man and lifts his hood, revealing glowing eyes. She kisses him, and the final shot is her appearing possessed.
I agree with the videos for Overpowered, Tonto and D.A.N.C.E, all of those are great but I'd also like to add some that I believe have not been metioned:
Minus The Bear - Knights This video employs an extremely original use of mirrored images, it can be a little intense at times though.
without a doubt, fionn regan's 'be good or be gone' is truly ingeneous in its simplicity. never have i seen such intricate, sonic beauty displayed visually to this level.
i gotta watch more music videos.. i never end up watching em much (beyond the takeawayshows at blogotheque), but I think when you get past the bullshit promotional media side of 'em they are a fantastic artistic medium with one of the highest possibilities of interesting experimentation.

I completely agree. I love the mixing of artforms. And photography/film and music are two of the most open fields of artistic expression around right now.
Also, TakeAway Shows are amazing.
I can't wait for Vincent Moon to release "A Skin/A Night". His documentary art film made during the recording of Boxer.
