The single is cool.Even though i cannot tell what he is really saying. But it has a nice dub-hip-hop feel to it. The rest of the album is pretty weak though.

I don't listen to too much hip/hop but I can honestly say after repeated listenings that Edan - beauty and the beat is a masterpiece Definitely my pic for album of the year so far...but I haven't spent much time with lord quas yet and the kayne west just got released so...we'll see.

I LOVE the albums from Cyne and Edan - easily the hip-hop albums of the year. Not a fan of Common's or Kanye's.

Man, when I made my first list, I forgot my absolute favorite hip-hop album. How silly of me. Deep Thinkers - Necks Move The Deep Thinkers are a KC-based duo that kick my ass every time I listen to their record. It's freaking brilliant.

Tom Green released a rap album in late 05'. It's definetly humorous, but I don't think the humor is necessarily the overiding factor on the album. It has some good beats. It could become a cult hit, ya never know. Check it out.
