Alright, so i'm still digesting this as an album, but some of it is straight up great. I think it came out in 2007, it's like a posse album but holds together very well, and both the beats and mcs are pretty great. This track in particular is really tight, as is 'savion glover', which i can't find a decent link too.

well worth checking out, especially since they have a female mc called dessa who is actually reeeally good. up there with jean grae and invincible. her solo mini-album also looks pretty good, but i've only heard a couple of songs. she's got an interesting way with words, often pretty cool. 'she was a latter-day saint but a saturday sinner. Sunday's suicide for weekends drinking her dinner. The worry keeps her slender, the pills keep her awake,
her man can't keep her happy but he helps to still the shakes" off 551 (i think) is a decent example. these guys also have p.o.s. in their clan.

anyone into them, or at least like the sound of the posted track?

I prefer P.O.S.'s solo work, but Doomtree is pretty good. They've come out with a 2008 self-titled album. Both their albums are a bit too bloated, though, but the production work is excellent.
