I found a promo for this album with seven tracks on the album and can honestly say that this may be his best work to date. The beats are all reminiscent of the hip hop beats of the golden age, his lyrics and flow are eloquent, on point, and beautiful.

"The Game" is the first track, he immediately opens with ferocity and doesn't quit until the the promo is over.

I can't wait until July!

I just picked up "Ressurection" a couple of weeks ago and loved it. What I've heard off of "Finding Forever" hasn't dissapointed me yet, which is good. Need some new rap to compete with the new Queens of the Stone Age and White Stripes releases.

Pretty exciting to see that people who have heard this new album are liking it so much. I have always liked Common's work and find him to be one of our best MCs today. I am really looking forward to his new album even moreso now.

Yeah, the leaks from this are sounding awesome. Gotta love the DJ Premier production. Everything that dude touches is gold.

Primo actually isn't producing anything on "Finding Forever" (including The Game)...he only did the scratching on The Game. The track is actually produced by Kanye West.

Resurrection is still Com's best work, and probably will always be....so we'll see how this compares to albums like "Be" and "Like Water For Chocolate", both of which I really liked, but weren't exactly classic like Resurrection.

Oh, just scratching eh? Well, in that case, Kanye West's production sounds great!

Resurrection is, indeed, Common's best work by far and, like GZAGenius said, probably always will be. While Be initially impressed me, I really never listen to it anymore. Although I know Common was never the hardcore, grimey type, the neo-soul-pop sheen on Be, coupled with syrupy shit like "Love Is," is more than I can handle. On the flipside, I was just listening to Resurrection on the way to work today. I haven't really liked Common since Like Water For Chocolate, and with a sissy title like Finding Forever, I have my doubts about the new one too. I will, however, withhold final judgement until I actually listen to it, which I undoubtedly will.
