Don't forget Peaches!, on second thought...you probably should. JK, I like F*** The Pain Away just as much as the next guy. Buck 65 is good, mcenroe is interesting, and then there's Peaches/Feist's rap posse Gonzales/Mocky (...coughlackingtalentcough). Cadence Weapon though, gawsh, I can't get over how solid a release this is.

Anyway 3 CURRENT MC's:
MF DOOM
Edan
Immortal Technique
I like their lyrics for the most part, Mr. Lif is pretty great on the mic too. His presence is pretty amazing, and I just like the old school way he delivers his lines. Murs is a good rapper as well, but his great raps (Walk Like A Man) are surrounded by his generic ones (Freak These Tales...aka Girls, Girls, Girls by Jay-Z redux).

Ahh Swollen Members...A friend of mine went to high school in North Van with the angry midget Mad Child, and a guy I work with went to high school in Victoria with nice guy Prevail, his real name is Kiley! I think Moka is from Victoria as well.

Top 3 Canadian MC's...Buck 65, K-OS and K'Naan
with all due respect to Maestro!

Who is rapping in the Island's song Where There's A Will There's A Whalebone? They're probably Canadian, and their raps are pretty darned good. Along with them, I'd put Buck 65 and Cadence Weapon. I love k-os's sound, but I don't really like his delivery/lyrics too much.

Oh my God, Bun B.

And yeah, Technique is angry backpacker shit and he's kinda corny is spots... I admire his passion, though, and everything but his freestyling is sub par... but... hey. I just like him. He's a smart dude.
