There's gonna be a lot of good stuff this year... these are some of what I'm really looking forward to...
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II - Raekwon (definitely my most anticipated '07 release)
Till I C L.A. - Tupac Shakur Get Back - Little Brother Live To Die - Method Man Ear Drum - Talib Kweli Madd At Me - Z-Ro The Seventh Seal - Rakim Jay Love Japan - J Dilla Detox - Dre Jesus Price Superstar - Sean Price The Armor Of God - Vakill T.I. Vs. T.I.P. - T.I.
Post all your anticipated releases for this year so we don't miss out.
and anything else that's Madlib related. By the way Carlito...I bought Madlib - Into the Blue (I think) ; Madlib invades Blue Note records. Anyway, he samples a lot of great jazz songs and makes them instrumental jazz/hip-hop. It's cool, before almost every track, the original artists give Madlib a shout out.

There's a few beats on Fishscale by Doom...Underwater, Clipse Of Doom, Jellyfish...
Doom recycled them though right? I heard the instrumentals after the fact (special herbs boxed set), and they were pretty solid beats, but it's dissapointing that Doom couldn't think of something new. Same with "Guns N' Razors" off of More Fish.
That being said, I'm looking forward to "Swift & Changeable" by Ghostface and MF Doom. Also new Madvillain, Talib Kweli, Cuban Linx 2, and if anything Cadence Weapon related comes out, I'd probably check that out too.

I want to check out the new Raekwon, Talib Kweli, J Dilla and the collaboration between DOOM and Ghostface albums. I also heard somewhere that Mos Def is putting out something new this year. Can anybody confirm this?

Tru Magic is awful, avoid like the plague.Apparently Mos only released it to get out of his contract. The only good Hip-Hop I've heard this year is Madlib and Talin Kweli's - Liberation, which is a free and legal download.
I posted this at another forum so I'll just drop it here...
The defining releases of 2007 methinks...
1. Phaorahe Monch - Desire (Jan) 2. Talib Kweli - Eardrum (Jan) 3. RZA - Afro Samurai (Jan) 4. Chamillionaire - Ultimate Victory (Feb) 5. GhostDoom - Swift & Changeable (Feb) 6. RJD2 - The Third Hand (Spring) 7. Nas - The Lost Tapes 2 (Spring)(Any info on this?) 8. Common - Finding Forever (Summer) 9. Brother Ali - The Undisputed Truth (Summer) 10. Kanye West - Graduation (2007)
These sound pretty nice as well...
Buckshot & 9th Wonder - The Formula Little Brother - Getback One Be Lo - L.I.F.E. (Lo Is For Everybody) Havoc - Kush Saigon - The Greatest Story Never Told Rakim - The Seventh Seal( Can't wait for this...) Immortal Technique - The Middle Passage 9th Wonder - The Dream Merchant Vol. 2 Killah Priest - The Offering Massive Attack - Weather Underground( ) Some exciting tempting projects there, shame most of it probably won't see the light of day,or else get pushed back. The day I get a new Lauryn Hill,Portishead Or Dre album for example...
However the album I'm looking forward too above all else is Klashnekoff's - Tussle With The Beast. With the right production this dude could create an absolute stunner.
9th Wonder isn't working with Little Brother anymore... now I'm kind of iffy on them.
Does anyone know where I can get a more reliable release calender for music in general? I never have liked the one on here. Even just a hip-hop one would be great.

I'm with you on that count. In Little Brother's new album 9th Wonder produced only one beat. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though and see what Nottz and Illmind are capable of in collaboration with Little Brother.
Quite frankly I'm very disappointed with their parting of ways. 9th Wonder gave Little Brother a distinct sound that was distinguishingly Little Brother. Now that he's gone, I'm not sure if Little Brother would sound the same. We'll just have to see with GetBack.

I didn't know there was a new DangerMouse/Jemini coming out. I liked Ghetto Pop Life, so I'll definitely check it out.

Just got a copy of Jesus Price Supastar. It's got some aight tunes on it. Haven't really digested much of the entire record as of yet, but so far I like "Cardio", "Stop", "P-Body", "Directors Cut" and "Mess You Made". I was expecting 9th Wonder's credits to be the sickest beats on the record, but I didn't feel that. The only 9th Wonder production I really like (so far anyway, things kinda change as you revisit some tracks) is "P-Body", although this joint seems like the obvious pick.
The new Sean Price album is pretty boring, I would have much prefered Buckshot get those beats.
I haven't seen the new EL-P album get a bad review, and two up and coming artists Klashnekoff and Black Milk are going to drop albums next month which should be at the least good.
I thought the Sean Price album was pretty nice....my favorite tracks: Violent, P-Body, Cardiac, King Kong, and You Already Know....one of my favorite albums of the year so far...but the 2 best albums I've heard this year...
Just two real dope albums....the Hell Razah album is grimey and hit pretty hard, while the Wisemen album is some more laid back smooth Wu Tang shit (produced by Bronze Nazareth)....
Wu on top again this year, so far (if you include the solid Afro Samurai soundtrack as well)....the two albums mentioned are probably better than anything released last year, honestly.
