At least you were sincere enough to admit you were not an expert on hiphop culture. It totally justifies (and reflects) your inaccurate and incomplete knowledge of it.

It seems I forgot one word. I meant the majority of MAINSTREAM rap. That might still be inaccurate, but that's what I originally meant to say, heh.

Um...yup, pretty much. Back in the day, he was the man. Now, his commercials are totally forgettable but not forgivable. ________________________________________________________ "The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. I know alot of people disagree with me but, Jay-Z is the all time worst & over-rated rapper ever to pick up a microphone. Here is a so-called-rapper who just "talks" to music. There is no rythem in his voice. You could play ANY beat & he would rap the same everytime! I just can't understand why so many people back up this horrible hack. Thank God he's retired!

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

I would take a lot of mainstream over a lot of the "intelligent underground" stuff any day, I just don't see what's intelligent about using big words in the wrong context or that just don't apply... 'll take gangsta rap any day, but, my vote goes to: 50 cent, The game, Jay-z, P diddy, Lil Jon, Cage, 2pac, Busdriver (except a couple songs), Mike Jones, Kanye West, Buck 65. Yeah. That's a lot.

I can't believe I forgot about Puff Daddy! What kinda name is "Puff Daddy" or "P. Diddy" for a rapper anyway? When I first heard someone talking about him, I pictured a "puffy" fat guy! I hadn't heard from his silly @ss in a while but, yeah he was/is awful. Right up there with Jay-Z!

Diddy's definitely the worst. His flow sucks, he has no actual rapping talent to speak of. His production sucks too.
