Same question as Turenne. You also left out Madlib, Danger Mouse, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Hi-Tek and a few others I can't think of right now.

I know, I left out alot of people,(Prince Paul mainly) so this is basically a bad post. The poll is bad as well. So if your favorite producer of ALL TIME is on the list then vote him, if not just post whos your favorite producer.

Saw American Gangster again today, and was reminded of how awesome RZA is on the whole, so voting for him. Since it's worded "best" and not "greatest" I'll spare the legions of imitators that followed him, the innumerable artists, great in their own right, who wouldn't exist without him, how he revitalized New York after Dr. Dre put Cali on the map, and say that as a primary rock/subgenres of rock listener I've easily listened to 36 Chambers more than any other album in my life. My senior year of high school I listened to it every day, often a few times a day. A RZA beat just sounds that much better to me.
