thanks for participating, this might lead me to start posting more, or at least checking it regularly.

Cheers, Imprezu21. 21 is one of my lucky numbers, by the way. It was my basketball number when we went to provincials back in '99.

We™ - "Hang On" (Decentertainment)
Broadway Project - "Born Spirit" (Born Spirit 12")

If you're still ballin' Filmore, I'm probably going to be playing down at Granville Island on Sunday afternoon if it's dry.

Oooh, my 666th post, how evil!
LOL

I'd be down but I've got to spend this weekend in Kamloops, cleaning out a storage room and selling my dad's shit. Fun fun fun. Maybe next week, man.

Doomsday is a cool song to chill to. But rap and chill out normally don't go together for me. When I hear someone on a wordflow, it's energising...

I find Aesop Rock's voice to be pretty hypnotizing. Have you heard "Daylight?"

The entire album Still I Rise with his kru The Outlawz is pretty solid & strong... my favorite track tho in that collaboration is "As The World Turns" --- might not be a chillout track tho.

I obviously didn't give 3 rats' skankasses if it was rap by Terrence Howard or Guru or Bombaclott. I liked the joint, thank you very much. I didn't feel like I have to hide it because it was a song that featured an actor. The beats were sick.

First, I'd be MORE embarrassed to demonstrate my lack of skill to spell E M B A R R A S S E D.

Second, the fact that you actually said that speaks volumes about what you apparently post on these boards and what you might really be thinking, Imprezu, whoever you are. I don't have time for this...this immature preoccupation with whether the dude doing the rap is an actor or a wannabe. I like the joint... it's an excellent blend of acoustic, hip hop and soul, that's my opinion. Period.

Besides if you listened to the song, it wasn't just Terrence Howard. In no way shape or form was I endorsing Terrence Howard as a skilled MC (where the hell did that idea come from anyway?). I was talking about the *joint*. J-O-I-N-T. Not actor. NOT the A-C-T-O-R.

I thought nothing passes you up.

I'm with you, Imprezu.

Ice Cube, while a fine actor, is now officially an actor trying to rap.
