All right, all of us hip-hop fanatics can rest assure because the best album by this genre for 2009 is here!
I've always liked Mos Def and I am particularly keen on the timbre and tone of his voice—it has such a fantastic sound to it. Many will complain about the fact that the album has production from different artists but honestly, it doesn't matter.
It's one outstanding album, what does everyone else think?

Personally, I think it's the best thing he's done since Black on Both Sides. He's working with some great producers, so it definitely sounds great. But his flow is energized too. It's kind of similar to the Madvillain album, but still Mos' own unique thing. Great album.

I dunno, man. DOOM doesn't even sound like he's trying that hard. However, "Cellz" is amazing. I wish he had more tracks like that on the album. Mos Def, however, sounds like he has more energy. Album's straight fire.
This is a ridiculously great album. It's what art rap should be. Millions of miles ahead of all the records made by dull-ass purists straining to sound old-school.
