Joseph Strickland: Before you accuse anyone of being a "troll", take a good look in the mirror.

What sort of "stupid criteria" are people basing opinions on anyway? Like, maybe, quality?

I dont realyy want to jump into this brawl bgut as much as I HATED, hated, HATED Fitty's last album I read a recent Newsweek article about "The Massacre". They mentioned a love song dedicated to heroin abuse or something to that nature. I like gangsta rap vut I'm definately NO expert but this song that Newsweek mentioned sounded really fresh and new. It almost made me get excited about Fitty's album....

One of the songs is called "Gatman and Robbin'".

One thing that I will admit is pretty funny, although I don't want to actually listen to it, is the track title "I Don't Need Em". I suppose he's smart enough to realize that he didn't get to the top by being talented, and is being defensive about it. And as a reply, "Yes, you do."*

*Eminem's credibility as an artist is another rant entirely. But we're focusing on 50 here.

Chuckle, chuckle.

I thought the same thing, but thought better of saying it. I'm glad your filter let it through, because it seems like it needed to be said.

Just another case of the hypocracy that flows throughout every pop music record (some are just more obvious than others). Sure "I Don't Need Em" but he's gonna appear on and produce half my albums anyway.

I think you're right. It could have been "I don't need 'em". It probably is.

I guess I gave fiddy too much credit.

Okay, here's my opinion! 50 Cent is the BEST chorus rapper EVER! That being said, his lyricism is weak, and his tone is monotonous. He is perfect for MTV and radio. It doesn't matter what he says, just how he says it. I'd compare him to Marlon Brando or George W Bush. Crap might be coming out of their mouths, but the way they deliver it is just compelling to the average listener.

Now everyone, don't tackle me for this one, but I like a couple of fiddy's songs. They are really good but still have some good beats in them. Maybe I like due to the fact that I don't generally listen to much in the genre and listen to only a couple select rappers. One of the main reasons that I listen in the first place is because the lyrics are unintentionally hilarious (That might explain why I like Lil' John so much).

I would like to make a prediction that 50 gets shot at least two more times in a matter of two years. I heard something about Young Buck stabbed someone and people getting shot in the leg over the dispute between "The Game" and 50. You would think after making 50 million dollars you would stop being an ass and quit rapping, but apparently they don't get the picture. I think that he may not understand that he is rich and is still attempting to "Die trying."

That was funny as hell, thanks for the laugh.

That is pretty much all that I have to say...

Finally someone who will actually admit they like 50 cent. Can we take race out the issue tho please? you talk about white people by saying wiggers because we listen to rap (predominantly black i admit) but if you listened to rock we wouldn't call you anything different, i hate what rap has become, listen to the music if you like it cool, if u dont, then dont come on these things and bitch about real rappers like 50 cent who have made it.

You confuse me, and here's why:
A) You hate what rap has become, but you like Fiddy Cent, who is the absolute worst of everything rap is today.
B) You finish your sentences with commas, which makes it difficult to follow your train of thought.
C) You tell people "dont come on these things and bitch about real rappers", but it's okay for you to bitch about people who bitch about "real rappers". That's a bit of a double standard.
D) Fiddy Cent lives in a mansion in Farmington, Connecticut. And yet, he still raps about how hard it is to live in "the hood". He's not real, and he's more of a slurrer than a rapper.
