Boogie Nights, starring the great "Marky Mark" Wahlberg.

how prominently does the rapper have to be featured? My nomination: Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai The RZA is in it, only a very small part, but hey, he's in it. As is his music throughout.

Speaking of Mos Def, I quite enjoyed Be Kind Rewind from last year.

Training Day (Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg) was a pretty good movie, it even won Denzel an oscar. The Spike Lee joint Bamboozled with Mos Def.

Don't think all of you will agree on me on this one: Revolver with André 3000 of Outkast.
I'm one of the few people that actually think this movie wasn't that bad, even though in some scenes Ritchie wanted to pull of a Tarantino a bit too obvious.
If you havent seen it: see the original UK Version. Stay away from the toned down and simplified US version.

Not much of a rapper movie but Something the Lord Made was a very good movie starring Mos Def. Rappers have been turning up their acting game recently. I read Common is more into acting now then music, which is clear from his last album.

Xhibit makes it all the way to the end in the new X-Files movie. Man, that damn film just might do to the television series what "Get on Your Boots" almost did to the new U2 album.
