I hope common will choke on his veggie burger...and never make an album again. He blew up and emitted pure crap from his mouth. He hasn't been right since he dropped the sense off his name.'Ressurection' is almost an essential album. After that...he is basically worthless.

Nia is just as great as well. I think blackalicious is one of the top acts to come out of the west coast ever. The best being latyrx. Its hard to believe that so much good stuff could "consistently" be coming out of one group of indavidual, ie. solesides.Probabbly the best "crew" hip-hop has seen.
If u dont believe me check out the must have 'solesides greatest bumps'.It is evidence alone.

I would expect that from someone who enjoys electric circus.
Har Har.
Do you see similarities between 'so hows your girl' and quannum??

no, I mentioned 'for fun' to check it out. Handsome came out the same time I was listening to the Quannum stuff, Dj Shadow,Deltron 3030, and others. Plus..Father Guido and Chris Elliot are hilarious.
Come on, admit you love Electric Circus...we know you do. Is the new Common #1 on your list?? lol....I won't bother, I heard one track and left screaming. Electric Circus was his 'step back' for some, but a treasure for moi.

You must have been sick for a few days when Edan and Common had the same Metacritic score. Lucky, for our sakes(the fellow people of this fine site) he dropped a few notches, and your fever lifted. We would've missed you.

I will never like electric circus you can bet on that.As far as common and edan being even...that does not surprise me.I have heard commons newest it is decent...and i can see why it would be getting above average scores.I honestly cannot fathom liking anything from common anymore.he wears eyeliner and makeup now.I saw him doing some ad...and he looked scary!!! He epitomizes the word "sell-out".While edan is just reveling in his indie "cred".
i honestly do not pay attention to the meta scores.i only look at the forums.

Tupac Amaru Shakur Redman Guru of Gang Starr Biggie Prodigy of Mobb Deep Mos Def & Talib Kweli De La Soul Dre Lil' Flip Method Man The Game Big Pun & Fat Joe (gotta give my propz to the latin brethren)

Carlito: While I also give much respect to Prodigy, I've gotta say I'm more than a little disturbed that Mobb hooked up with G-Unit.
Even more disconcerting was an interview in last month's Vibe. They sound like they're just about ready to take it up the rear for success. Something to the tune of "whatever Daddy 50 wants, Daddy 50 gets."

I know, merqury, I was actually wondering how or why they decided to join G-Unit. It's like...what came over them. Their image as Mobb Deep will be tarnished forever.

Hahaha. No, not in those words. But it was like a public rimjob. And when asked about 50's numerous beefs (being that Havoc had produced for people like The Game and Lil' Kim in the past), they responded (direct quote):
HAVOC: I'm a producer, bottom line. Nobody can tell me what I can and can't do... And 50 is not even like that at all (I guess someone should've told Dre that). But I will say that I'm down for my team, and I ain't trying to start no friction.
PRODIGY: If Fif tells me, "Yo, don't give that nigga no verses," them niggas ain't getting no verses, man... I'll be like, "Alright, cool. What verses can I do?"
Yeah, disturbing.

Look at those street teams go. Hooray for mainstream rap!
