I'm in a filmmaking class and I'm looking for some music for my next proj. I need something that depicts fear and pure evil, something similar to Mussorgsky's "Night On Bald Mountain". Any suggestions? The more bombastic the better.

Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture
Tchaikovsky - Marche Slave
Wagner - Ride Of The Valkryies
Beethoven - 5th Symphony
George Crumb - 'Black Angels' album

Anything by Xenaxis, Edgard Varèse or Le'Rue Delashay..

Experiment with those and hopefully you'll find what your looking for.

I would go with Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night).

"Threnody For The Victims of Hiroshima" by Penderecki is very disturbing.
