I'm pretty sure you consent to be searched (for any and all things they might find) at any concert or event. When you're on someone else's property, at their discretion, you are subject to the security and/pr policing they deem appropriate.
If you were searched by the police off-grounds, they would presumably need probable cause to stop and search you, but those grounds are easy to find: driving too slow/fast, expired tags, out-of-state plates, taillight out, etc.
I don't know Tennessee's laws on all this, but I'm pretty sure you don't have much ground to fight them.

Doesn't that kill bonnaroo though? I've never gone, but all of my friends at the boarding school I went to went and they came back w/ mile long lists of the drugs they did. I thought my lists were long... they had shit that I had to google!
