I am a huge trans-siberian orchestra fan, and there is an upcoming TSO concert i would like to go to. I would also like to take my family there (my dad, mom, little brother and sister). I am hesitant though, because I do not want my family to be disappointed if there is jumping, screaming, etc. like at a rock concert. has anybody heard anything, is it a concert where the people will be a bit more calm and are there to appreciate the music instead of thrash about? Is it suitable for all ages of family?
A close friend of mine went to their concert in Scranton, Pa. He took his wife, 8 year old, 5 year old and 2 year old sons. He said they all loved it. He said it was the kind of concert you can take your kids to. Hope that helps you. Do you know the name of the song by them that I hear on the radio station (x-mas) all the time? All I know is that it is sung by a girl(s) and they keep singing "this Christmas"?
here in la, mark and brian who do the morning show on klos promote these guys like crazy. ive heard a bunch of their songs but would love to catch a show of theirs.
I saw them Christmas 2007 with my whole family and it was definitely a sight to see. It's very much a rock concert in terms of the music and spectacle, but it wasn't like people were moshing where we were sitting. I'm pretty sure we stayed seated the whole time, so I'd say it's okay for an entire family to go.
