i had the distinct pleasure of seeing the pixies live a few weeks ago in spokane. i thought it was one of the coolest shows i've ever seen, but obviously i'm a little biased. anyway, just wondering what others who've seen them on their reunion tour (or in the band's heyday) thought of the gig.

I saw them this year, one of the best shows I've ever been too. They are one of my favorite bands so that helped, but the energy was incredible and every song was perfect.

I saw them on November 30th in Amherst, MA. Mission of Burma and The Bennies opened.

A truly amazing performance by a band that NEVER fails to push the bar of expectation.

I sold my ticket to the Atlanta show because I wasn't willing to drive 9 hours for the Pixies, but I was told it was a great show. I saw them open for Love and Rockets in 1989/1990 and they were really powerful.

There's a pricy ($30) double-live Pixies disc being sold at one of the big independent stores here in the STL that comes from a New Orleans show, if anyone cares.
