I see that the Fiery Furnaces will be coming through Atlanta at the end of February, playing at Smith's Old Bar. I absolutely love Blueberry Boat, but own nothing else of thiers. I would imagine those songs would be pretty tough to pull off live, but I'm still curious. I would guess they would stay away from the Rehearsing My Choir tunes (which I've not heard) mainly because the grandmother parts. Anyway, I'm curious if anyone's seen them and what kind of show they put on live.

They are awesome live. They play nonstop sets melting all their songs together into one. They have an incredible, inhumane, drug induced energy. When I saw them in SLC they played like 30 or 40 minutes without stopping. They would just transition between songs by melting the melodies together. They also steal one anothers parts as far as singing and instruments. Highly recommended.

Thanks. I've read a live review on Tiny Mix Tapes that said basically the same. I'm definitely planning on going, especially since the venue they're playing in Atlanta is so small.
