Good news, after all my complaining that nobody ever comes here, I just found out that Of Montreal is coming in November and although I don't like them, I will probably check out Animal Collective next week. This is very great news because they are cheap shows and I had no idea that bands like this (not well known but widely liked) came here. I am very excited.

I am thinking about going to Underworld or Do Make Say Think tomorrow night. I'd probably have more "fun" at Underworld, though it's more expensive and the venue isn't as sweet as where Do Make Say Think will be...

I'd love to be at the Girl Talk/Simian Mobile Disco/Dan Deacon show tonight, but dammit, it's sold out.

Modest Mouse has just added a bunch of new fall dates to their tour. I am so happy because they have chosen to come here in December. Tickets went on sale yesterday, I can't wait!

Yeah. Things like sneaking a knife on stage and starting to cut himself randomly, and then having band managers or security come and wrestle it out of his hands.

Personally I think it was a publicity stunt to promote/celebrate the release of We Were Dead..., but you never know with that guy. And I wouldn't put it past him to shove a knife through some fan's head, if his record sales needed some extra help.

Have Fun.

I may not have mentioned this on here, but having grown up in Alaska my experience with live music is absolutely zero. I can hardly comprehend what it is like to go to a concert. Bands exist on CD, and in Youtube videos. It's kindof surreal to think of actually seeing them inperson playing instruments.
