Well after getting bullied around, here is a thread where anyone can post when good, musical artists/bands are playing on some shows. This is a good spot to put this in since it deals with musical performances and more people will notice it on here than in the TV forums.
A lot of good bands get invited to play on the tonight and late night shows and I know for one, that I like to check them out.
So here is what's on tap for tonight: Björk is on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. I know it is late for a lot but those fanatics would like to know. Work out your schedules.
Not much of interest on the other channels, but if you are curious: Raul Midón on The Tonight Show, Frankie Valli on Jimmy Kimmel, Cary Brothers on Ferguson and Melissa Etheridge on Letterman.

Yeah they were great. I am pretty sure they did "Apartment Story," though I might have been wrong. I knocked out right after I saw it. They were tight and sounded really good.
Bright Eyes was on Leno and he was also really good. They did "Four Winds" and it sounded awesome as well; Oberst sings with so much emotion that almost everything he does ends up sounding terrific. It would've been cool to see him do "Lime Tree"--though it is too long I guess--that is one powerful song.

I watched Bright Eyes on Leno last night. Good stuff. I also ended up watching Devendra Banhart on Conan since I'm a little under-the-weather and I couldn't sleep. He played the funky "Lover" from his new album.

Yeah, I liked the Devendra Banhart song as well. I got to see it too because it worked out to where he came on on Conan and then right after, The National was on Ferguson. That rarely happens--most musical guests play simultaneously--but it was cool to see both of them.

I wish I could stay up late. There should be a show that rounds up all of the night's late-night appearances and plays them at like 7:00pm the next day. I'd watch that.

A metacritic forum YouTube channel perhaps?

Thank's for linking to the clip. I love watching them play. Mostly I like watching Bryan on the drums. But the interaction of the whole group is great. They are so dynamic.

*sigh* Spoon will be on Saturday Night Live this weekend. I saw them on a promo clip tonight while watching the office. I'm glad they were able to make it in for that shot...

Ugh, another forum's SNL thread really depresses me. "What was with the band? If you're going to have an 90s alternative rock band play SNL, at least pick one that has a hit."
Tards.
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.
