All Points West is back for round 2. I had the three day pass for last year's festival and was extremely disappointed at the poor sound quality, high security at the front gates and their ridiculous alcohol policy. Still, the setting is amazing and it's close enough to home that I will most likely buy a one day pass to Friday's show. Anyone at least a little excited for this? Highlights:

Friday, July 31: Beastie Boys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, The National, Fleet Foxes, Ra Ra Riot, Shearwater, Arj Barker

Saturday, August 1: Tool, My Blood Valentine, Arctic Monkeys, Neko Case, The Ting Tings, Crystal Castles, Tokyo Police Club, The Cool Kids, White Rabbits, Judah Friedlander

Sunday, August 2: Coldplay, Echo and the Bunnymen, MGMT, The Black Keys, Elbow, Mogwai, We Are Scientists, The Gaslight Anthem, Lykke Li, Akron/Family, Todd Barry

I'm going to this. Not at all the ideal festival, but I'll be in Jersey City at that time so I figured why not. My Bloody Valentine is almost 100% of the reason I'm going, but it seems you totally missed a lot of the highlights. Organized Konfusion, Kool Keith, Q-Tip, Flying Lotus, The Pharacyde , St. Vincent, Tim & Eric, Micheal Showalter, Eugene Mirman. Oh well.
