Has anyone ever been to the Electric Factory in Philadelphia? I'm going to a concert there in March, and I was just wondering if it's a good concert venue. And I'm bored out of my mind; I couldn't think of anything else to write about
It's my second favorite here, behind only the World Café Live. It's big, but it get crowded, so show up early and grab some space upstairs next to the main bar. (Some seats are also available, and occasionally a bar is opened downstairs.) And I hope you had your tickets mailed to you — I waited 45 minutes in line at the Will Call window for Iron & Wine/Calexico.
What show are you seeing?

I'm seeing Belle and Sebastian and the New POrnographers, and, yes, I am having my tickets mailed to me. So I should grab an upstairs seat, huh? How many does it seat in total, m. leland? Thanks for the response- much appreciated.
I couldn't tell you how many it seats. By the time I get there (usually a half hour after doors) I'm always relegated to standing in the back, sipping a Yuengling you can buy from the beer stands. The bar's selection is much, much better. Oh, there's also music.
