Our package just got here last week from China with these really cool CS figures from www.lducompany.com that I bought for my son. He is only 8 and I am starting to think that the computer game is a little too violent for him but the toys are kinda cute and harmless. Does anyone know if these characters have names? I have heard some people call this game half life, is there a difference?

I would definetly say that CS is not suitable for an 8 year old, maybe from the age of 12. I thought there was a age-rating on it O_O
They don't have names, they are counter terrorist groups from different countries and terrorist groups from different countries and you go around killing the other.
Headshots are prefered because that's an instant kill, and knifing someone because it funier.
The figurines may look cute, but they do represent the game, but it's all up to you, the responcible parent to choose what is right for your child.
Oh yeah Half Life is a different game by the same company, CS came as a bonus package with HL.
