GTA IV has been heavily linked to domestic abuse in Western households. I did an intense study in which I spent 70 hours in one week playing the game, and after it I had a broken controller, a malfunctioning chest of drawers, and a door with some fresh dents in it.

Domestic furniture beware.

Of course, I think violent behaviour induced by the game can be attributed to its scarcity of save points in-mission, rather than anything to do with its immoral tapestry of drug dealing, cold blooded murder, prostitution, car-jacking, and destruction of public property.

In my opinion, it's very rare for youth crime caused by GTA.

The main reason- is the rebellious stage.

When people become teenagers, they will start being rebellious, and well, youth crime.

THIS IS JUST AN OPINION. DO NOT ARGUE. THANK YOU.

Check the "Which high-rated games you disliked?" (not my discussion). A lot of people said it's GTA.

No studies in the subject have found any link between playing violent video games and doing violent things.

There's more of a serious link between a child's family situation and violence. The scapegoating of violent video games is just another symptom of parents infantilizing their children. Making the assumption children are impressionable to the point they can't separate fiction and reality.
