Dude, I am not sure who you're preaching to but I'm forced to state the obvious by saying that your comments are pointless when you are posting on a thread where people like Mariah Carey, regardless if she's the worst singer or not.

Sorry, don't let me ruin the good time you've got going there. Enjoy your useless pop star.

Dude, you forgot to finish him off by grunting under your breath (a la the "South Park" goths):
"CONFORMIST!"

Haha. Some of you here really are a trip!

Can we get back to the subject please?

I've never been a Mariah fan nor do I actually own any of her albums but the constant media exposure of her during the last 15 years has given me the ability to say at least something about her vocal skills.
I think after her breakdown around 2001, she lost most of her vocal affectation and started that whisper thing that quickly got very annoying. Thankfully she's gotten rid of that and is back to her old self vocally on the Mimi album. It seems the audience have taken notice to, looking at the amount of copies sold of her latest effort.
On another note, she might think about changing her image a bit. She's not 20 anymore and imho she's on the verge of becoming pathetic with that slightly pornstar like appearence.

She'll never be older than 20 mentally, might as well look like it.

Man, taking shots at celebrities on the internet is incredibly pathetic! The fact that people care about her appearance and mental state and have to comment about it in a forum titled Mariah's Voice is sad!
That reminds me of the scene in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back where they use their movie money to track down all the internet geeks who trashed them online, and kick their asses!

You calling her a celebrity instead of "world's greatest singer" is technically taking a shot at her.

Filmore, Filmore, Filmore. I really wonder about you sometimes.

Scratch that. I'm fairly certain I know your kind.

I'm fairly certain I know Mariah Carey. I've seen enough Diary, pandered MTV interviews, and Much Music bios to see she's a totally worthless human being. Tom Green comes off a lot better. Why, what is my kind?

Oh, man! Instead of blindly hoovering up gossip whenever you hear it, why don't you try looking for the truth before passing it along as fact?

Worse than a fucking sewing circle.

"I know I can be diva-ish sometimes, but I have to be in control. The nature of my life, the nature of what I do, is divadom, it really is."

"A lot of people are singing about how screwed up the world is, and I don't think that everybody wants to hear about that all the time."
Plenty to choose from...

While it's disturbing that I'm turning into a Mariah apologist, I can truly say that what's even more pathetic is that you have some kind of grudge against her.

You sound like a spurned high-school wannabe cheerleader. Truly unsettling.

No, ma fren. My main pet peeve is with miscreants like you who go wayyy off-topic. Your apparently personal beef with Carey does little more than amuse me (highly).

But then again, I've already made my impression of you (indiot and all) known.

Enjoy, man. This back-&-forth got old weeks ago.

Uhh, right...
Anyway, I hear she's going out on tour. While I won't be at any of the shows, I hope she blows 'em away.
