This morning I found myself listening to the new song by Robyn. This is good I thought to myself. Its the first time I'd come across her music. The song was 'With Every Heartbeat'.
Is anyone a fan of hers? Is her music consistently good?
Any POV/opinions of Robyn?

I can answer my own question. I went out and bought Robyn's latest album today.
It can be described as interesting and inteligent electro-pop.
I personally feel her music is crying out for a DJ to make some dance mixes from it. 'With Every Heartbeat' could be massive in the clubs if it caught a DJ's attention and they played it enough. Her music is a bit too downtempo for me, but for the odd track such as the one I mentioned.
But I'm glad I bought the album.

I've been a fan of hers since '97 and "Show Me Love"
She's a swedish pop singer (dabbing in electro you're right)
she kinda disappeared at the beginning of the 00s
but came back strong in '05 with a self-titled album with hits like "Be Mine!", "Bum Like You" and "Konichitwa Bitches"

she started her own label, Konitchiwa Records after feeling a lack of artistic freedom for her label Jive.
She covered Teddybears Sthlm's "Cobrastyle" last year and came out recently with "With Every Heartbeat" featuring Kleerup. Banging track indeed.
I hope you gets more recognition cuz she makes some really good in your face pop music, way better than Britney, Xtina or whoever else is selling these days in mainstream pop

'With Every Heartbeat' is a good song but I haven't really taken to her other songs 'Be Mine' and 'Handle Me'

Nevertheless she remains a much better bet than Britney Spears, Fergie et al

with every heart beat and be mine i think were some of the most remixed songs of 2008 there are so many good mixes of these out there especially if you look for the cure one i forget which song it was mixed with of hers but its really good

She released a self-titled album early in '08 I think. I downloaded it recently, and I've been listened to it ever since. Curriculum Vitae, the album opener, is pretty funny. Really the whole album is what good pop music should be...it was one of my favorite releases from '08. I'd recommend picking it up if you have any interest in pop music.
