Jglass, I highly recommend you check out "Umbrella" by Rihanna, "No one" by Alicia, and "Big girls don't cry" by Fergie. You won't be dissappointed.

Lily Allen - "LDN"
Róisín Murphy - "Sow Into You" and "Let Me Know" and pretty much everything else by her and Moloko
Natasha Bedingfield - "Unwritten," "These Words," "I Wanna Have Your Babies," probably a dozen other songs
Kylie - I'll throw in "Love at First Sight" (N.B. - yes, I know she's Australian)
Sophie Ellis-Bextor - "Catch You"

It's been a really good decade for pop, actually. The trends of the 00s are much less irritating than the trends of the 90s, at least to my ears.
