Half-Life 2 is better, in every way.

Whoa. R u kidding? Half Life 2 beats Halo 2 by a long shot. I'm a Halo fan too though...but I think Half Life 2 was amazing and so much fun! I loved how they put it on Xbox (mainly because my PC sucks). I really wish Half Life 2 on Xbox/Xbox 360 was given a multiplayer like it has on PC. If it did have XBL I think it'd be even more amazing..playing Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch ohhh man

Half-Life 2 is way better. Period.

Halo, while not exactly a "bad" game, is really really over-rated. But there is a reason for this.

Overall I believe that the computer games are generally better than games you can find on consoles. There are obvious exceptions but overall computer games have always topped consoles in terms of gameplay or graphics.

Halo is a new generation game and it definitely plays like one. The core of the game really isnt bad. Its fun but a bit repetative.

The real difference Halo has is that it appeals to a WAY bigger audience. I think more people want to buy a console and not worry about whether a game will run or not on their computer. Chances are more people that have never even really played any computer games will play a console game...and like it.

Halo was a ground-breaking game for console first person shooters. It just wasnt that good of a game...mainly because it was that "first" ground breaking console fps.

I just think it got so big because people with no knowledge on what a good game really is liked it so much. There are plenty of computer games that were better than halo. And still are.

Halo 2 is a little better in my opinion. It has a haunting story, slick gameplay and totally mindblowing multiplayer.

Half Life 2 is also an incredible game but I just like the Halo 2 better. Halo Life 2 has a better single player campaign than Halo 2.

Both games are must have games for FPS-fan.
