You won't get anywhere near 120 unless you have a bunch of games.

120 is about what they resell them for.

I reserve the right to be entirely wrong.

Good for you; but there's something that bothers me. I'm not a big fan of the PS2, but I don't belive in trading in games nonetheless a whole system. It's such a rip off! How can you buy a game for $49.99 and sell it back for like $10.00 or $7.00? It doesn't make any sense, and just think of how much time you put in that certain system. It's got a whole load of sentimental value. It's always fun going back to the oldies, remembering how much fun you had playing thoes games, it's like throwing your old child hood stuffed animal away. It's unthinkable. One day you're going to shuffle through that closet remembering the time you spent together anticpating that old spark that once burned into countless hours of gaming-and you'll stop, then foolishly realize you've just sold your whole gaming history.

ps-Then you'll kneel down in that dusty timekeeper of a closet and sob over your long lost loved one. Images of you racing home to play GTA 3 after a hard days work, eyes wide like a little boy, turning it on hearing the fan churn up to cool your PS2 and your excitement. Or pretending to be Snake with your back against a wall peering over your shoulder for any unsuspecting family/friend. Then it all dissolves in front of your teary eyes, your left there with nothing, a feeling of abandonment, the feeling that you deliberately sold your memories for cheap dirty, unrelenting, uncaring, cash.

well i went into a game stop over the weekend and found out they will give me 85 for the basic console and 2 controllers. So i figure with the few games, memory cards and remote another 35 bucks. Ill prolly make the deal happen later this week when i have time. Prolly going to pick up the mk deception, and rock that on xbox live. Any guess's on when San andreas will come to xbox? I know im going to miss out on playin it first, but i think its going to be worth the wait, especially on the xbox!! peace in the middle east

Thank God I've NEVER played a game in the privacy of my home or anyplace else private. Yeah, I used to waste time 30 years ago at the miniature golf course, but I've been successful thus far to avoid all personal games, and my straight-A, thirteen-year-old daughter apparently hasn't missed my draconian code either. All those who live for games, bless you; just listen for once to the loyal opposition (unlike politicians.)

....

You aren't implying that video games lower people's grades, are you?

I would like to present myself as evidence to the contrary.

No, I'm not implying anything. I really only posted because I've never really posted at THIS forum and the Dodgers lost, so I just wanted to say something which is the truth without sounding TOO much like a dick. Keep up the good work, CompmanJX3.
