Anyone played the new Oddworld? Thoughts? opinions?

Hahah, I think you are touching on a funny point. People seem to come in, say one obscure, useless thing, then leave :P. Anyways, its really sad that Oddworld wasn't as big as it could've should've would've been had EA not been involved. They lost a lot of faithfuls like myself. I'm angry that they changed the games to Xbox, I'm enfuriated that the games a FPS, and I'm enraged that the game doesn't follow the other two with Abe. ARGh

just get a valium or sumthing. The game is actually very good. For starters I'm really glad they changed the games to xbox. It allows for more detail and polygons and thus, more immersive worlds. It's an FPS and doesn't have Abe.. So? It's original, it has kick a$$ action and it's a lot of fun and that's what matters. I kinda like it that it's not as puzzle oriented as the 1st two games. It's gameplay is not a trial and error affair like in those two and that fact by itself makes it a lot more fun and less frustrating. I agree that Abe was a likeable character, but having one character or the other does not affect gameplay, not to mention Abe would hardly fit the western theme in use here..
