Hello all just thought i would point out,gears of was 2 has been available for download for a week now so maybe not all the reviews are from sony fan boys huh ???

i gave gears of war 2, 4 out of 10 the campaign is good,well all 7 hours of it is but it still runs at a low frame rate!the graphics look a little better but its still sketchy and low res


the multi player is horrific i would say it runs no higher than 25 fps,u have no conntrol who u play with i.e some onne in uk can get matched with some one from australia,now nothing against them but the connection on gears of war is bad as it is


there is still host advantage the shotgun rate of fire has been slowed down the whole game has been ruined


afterplaying gow 2 for 5 days and really trying to like it i then went back oto gears of war for winndows,OH MY GOD that is what gears should runn like,epic have dropped a big one with this release.


this game has been voted 2.8 out of 10 for a reason,it aint people hating on gears of war, its pissed of gamers that went to an extent to play the game early in anticipation of the game of the year,instead we got the flop of the year

Well i have been reading through the comments of what people have had to say And before we go any further im no sony Fan boy im an xbox fan but more so a pc gamer. I just want to say that johnny soups comments are very true about gow2!! The campaign is amazing! but when u come to multiplayer its a huge let down I was really looking forward to this game and as a gamer feel a little let down with it. as for all the hype about the biggest game of the year yea!!! right!!! more like flop of the year I think the best thing they should do now is gett it right for the pc and realese it ASAP!! As gears on the pc is in a totally different league compared to the lag box.But if u do what my advice for one of the best games of the year witch i have just completed is Dead Space on the pc obviously!!!

Oh and tkurata do u no any thing about gaming or have u even played gow2 cause if u have u must be playing a different version to us best u get back on ur wee!!!

The game is not "available for download", you knuckleheads are publicly admitting to having pirated the game. Real classy.

@ wasted pixels,morning mate at what point did i mention i pirated the game ??.i have played the game and if i thought it to be worth £45 i would go out and buy it,and yes the game is available for download,a copy was leaked last tuesday,80 percet of the people i spoke to on xbox live shared the same view as me i.e there not happy with what epic have done

i can assure you im not a sony fanboy and thhe last thing i wanted to happen is for gow2 to flop but it has,ad as i all ready seen some magazines are giving it reviews in the 90% mark i thought i should get my opinion out,after all im not after your money

what i would say to any one reading this is rent the game and see what u think,or waite a year till it comes out on windows and grab it for £18,like gears of war wndows was when that hit the shelves

a game that is £45 on xbox is £18 on pc same game,and it runs better on pc and looks 2 gens ahead of the xbox,all u console gamers are being ripped off gold membership is free on windows wake up people,find £100 pond and buy a gpu and come and join the fun on gears of war windows !

Wow this game is not out yet and people have reviewed......the only way to play it is a pirated version and that would be just stupid to say you have played it right??? Well i think sony's dying fanboys have to leave there mark somewhere so they will hurt gow2's score just for self satisfaction and for releif because they bought a ps3 instead of an xbox 360. So dont judge a game if its not out yet..o and it is possible for a pirated version to feel laggy because maybe it wasnt finished or a very bad download..Gow2 FTW

@stevie cheese will you give in on this sony fan boy crap,i used to own a 360 ans a PS3 i sold the PS3 cos there was no games worth playing on it, i kept the xbox because gears of war was on it and i like the multiplayer,then a year later gears of war windows came out so i bought a pc and played it on that,and the difference has to be seen for your self

i played gears of war 2 and it was a final version do u really think that 2 weeks before it realesed it would not be finished?? about three weeks ago a picture was published of a legit gears of war 2 disc been put into an xbox 360 console a week later it was available for d/load

the game runs slower than the previous one,the weapons dont have any conviction when you use them,the rate of fire has been slowedd down on the shotgun so now its like a boltok pistol,they have changed the lighting what makes it look a bit washed out,when u kill some one there bodys just flop it aint as gory,if u wana play ranked u get matched with all sorts so u get a very bad conection (ping of 300 plus for those of u who understand),u cant get up in execution no more u can only crawl away,i cant remember what multi player level it is but at the begginnging it stutters like lotr battle for middle earth,there is all ready a glitch were u cant pull out your weapon,general hoffman has been replaced by some soft sounding arse hole,and i dont no what they done to the music thats beenn ruined aswell

like i said its worth a rental for the campaign but for me gears of war is about multi player and it aint worth £45 quid,i would get my xbox flashed and play it for free,but why would i wannna do that when i can play gow1 on pc running at 60 fps on 1920x1200,compared to a 360 running at 25 fps upscaled to 720P LOL

any way mate ill leave u to it ur entitled to ur own opinion,all i can say is i have played the game thouroughly and really tried to like it over the time i had with it,im not willing to pay £40 for gow2 then £40 for xbox live for the year,when it will be £18 on pc plus GOLD IS FREE ON WINDOWS,Bargain

I have a PC, a pretty decent rig. I use it to play The Witcher, Medieval II, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos and many other games. I also have a 360. My PC won't have any issue running Gears 2 if they make a PC edition of the game.
