Just got the game recently (I know...a little late), and I gotta say, I haven't put it down once (well maybe to play a little Bejeweled 2 on my 360).

Anyways, I thought Star Wars: Kotor was the pinnacle for Xbox RPG's, but I think I might have to change my stance after playing Jade Empire. The combat is flat-out superb. Switching styles and raining down havoc on your foes is not only rewarding, but one of the most satisfying things I've ever experienced in a game. Everything from magic to weapons to martial arts is excellent.

The story is also top notch. It's gripping and emotional....one of the better stories (post Playstation) that I've experienced.

Graphics are great too, especially the backgrounds. Very serene and calm....surreal, but lifelike.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone who has a remote interest in adventure games, RPG's, or action. It's high on fun and simplicity....and while there are things to manage, it's never too complicated. Just the perfect balance.

This game is a perfect 10 for me.

I think I will pick it up soon. I haven't bought a video game in a while and it's $30(can). A lot of people seem to recomend it as well.

A very good choice....

Don't be put off by the heavy amount of dialogue either....a lot of people complain about that for some reason. If you have the attention span of an adult, and not a 10 year old, then you should be fine. I think the dialogue is great....and really helps the background of the story.

Definitely a must buy for Xbox owners.

Yeah, I just ordered it today, should arrive soon. There were two versions: Limited Edition and the normal one. Do you have any idea what the difference is?

Limited Edition comes with an extra character to choose from, an extra fighting style, and a "making of Jade Empire" feature....

All of which are not in the regular version....the regular version will suffice for most players because there are many characters and fighting styles as it is to try out....

Either one is a good decision....they still have the same great game.

Update: I'm about 9.5 hours into the game....still absolutely loving it. The best Xbox game I've played since I beat Halo 2 the first couple weeks I got it.
