There are tons of people who claim they are hardcore when it comes to gaming, but few have ever had the chance to tell us what makes them a hardcore gamer. Here is your chance to tell me just that!
What makes me a hardcore gamer is first my passion for gaming and my willingness to be late for my best friends wedding because I was almost at the end of GT4. Not sure if that is hardcore or stupid as I was the best man… It is my motivation to drive a stake in the heart of someone that I am destroying online in any sports game…especially boxing…real hardcore right?
Maybe my reasons for being hardcore are a little lame, if so, tell me what makes you a hardcore gamer and lets see who’s lame….chump!
i would think hardcore is you do it cuz you love to play but your also competitive enough your not a jerk, but not so much that you have no life. you cant be a total 6 year old kid about it either. people going round thinking there super cool gamers bragging about their achievements or the day they beat petz tigerz in under 2 hours makes you a hardcore asshole not a hardcore gamer. if your only console is a wii or ds, your defiantly not a hardcore gamer either. lets face it, most games on them suck ass. if you have them as extras cuz aybe your kids play them, or you want to play gta chinatown wars, you may be hardcore( at least more hardcore). finally, if you only play one genre of game (ex: fps's like halo or cod 4) and never play anything else like oblivion or burnout because you say/think all other games besides fps' are not fun, you will never, ever be a hardcore gamer.that's just my personal opinion.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm very strict with this. I don't know anyone I've played with who I could call a HCG. Some people on my friends list play almost every day, but using time as the only criteria isn't enough. Some of them are good in Halo 3 and COD4, but they might just have a good internet connection giving them an advantage. Some of my game friends write game reviews on websites, but that only means they can write. Using 80 % of your money for games and accessories means something. The famous players with gamertags "Stallion83" and "Zakke Wylde" have over 300,000 Gamerscore points, but did they do it legitimately? If they did, I would consider them HC.
