wow i was just thinking the same thing the other day! A sims game would be so brilliant on such a powerful gaming machine. The only problem with Sims on consoles is moving the cursor around... its alot more suited to a PC mouse than an analogue stick but if microsoft or any other 3rd party companies created a mouse it would do the game justice. One other element the game would need to have is the ability to purchase more items for the house rather than being restricted to a certain amount... im sure the 360 could handle 100's of items without slowdown.
Ya know wot? Ya know whats bloody what!

Yeah! I totally agree that furniture bar that restricts purchases is really annoying as this prevent realisticness of the game. you don't go to Argos and they tell you that you can't buy something because your limit is over. I also think sims should be able to go out places such as driving to another house in the sims village or going to the cinema or local bowling alley. i know that you can go downtown but you can't go to civilian places such as these. Also those rubbish pathetic psychic advisor phone calls in the middle of the night, these should be scrapped as no-one pays attention to them. Same goes for the Adoption agency they shouldn't phone us we should phone them. What do you think.

The sims is so much easier to play on PC. It'd be hard to play on Xbox 360...I've never tried it on PS2 either so I wouldn't really know but I'm just assuming. And besides you don't need an amazing graphics card to play The Sims on your PC. But, what would be cool is if The Sims 3 was on 360..It comes out on PC in 2009
