I am I was about to reply to your post a few months back but I thought it was too late to do so and that you've already figured it out.

Well...I've pretty much taken a permanent break from ESIV...amazing game...one of the best ever...but to me, the only thing I found that dragged it down was the main quest (the oblivion gates in particular)...and that was kinda gamebreaking for me eventually. The first couple were very cool...but when they all started popping up, I just got so bored with them...and when I finally had enough of the sidequests and such (about 100-120 hours spent on sidequests), I stopped playing...great game while it lasted though, and it gave me plenty of memories...
long live ESIV.

I remember a long while back that my friend said this game wasn't very good but after a demo i purchased the game and became hooked literally. even if i know what i'm doin is the same thing over and over i still play it. I just keep going into places "i might not have been in before" to kill somethings. I've recently had the Shivering Isles Download and i'm still cluthing the controller. However i am anooyed that it claims to have over 30 hours NEW gameplay, but it is similar to doing the same thing over again which does eventually bore me and also it only takes about 10 hours to complete really unless i guess you go in there at level 1 not knowing a thing about the game. However talk to you guys in the future. Happy New Year to those who are still waiting - 4 mins to go now lol.
