Haha....I've found the first 10, I'm currently almost done with the 20 part...but I don't go out searching for them. I find 'em when I'm walking around, and in houses/buildings sometimes, but that's it. You can get quite a few near bodies of water (which is where they actually grow)....just walk along the banks of oceans and rivers, and you're sure to find enough for the first 10. That's where most of the Nirnroots are.
Oh Right well i haven't had this quest yet but i will continue searching for these nirnroots then. Has everyone collected the Nirnroot in the bottom of the well behind the mages guild in cheydinal (i think) it is where the ring of burden was. Has everyone downloaded FrostCrag Spire it ends up East of Bruma where you can make your own spells, there aren't any nirnroots there in fact but you can download a place inside the frostcrag spire so that you can improve Alchemy skill quickly and also when you enter, where the spell making thing is you can summon your own Atronach but you will the three void/frost or flame salts to do this. Thanks for the advice on these nirnroots i have collected five now. If people want to summon a Lich, Wraith or Daedra Spider then go to the Arcane University and search through the buildings there. First go through to the other section where their are rooms where some people stay, one of these has some people that will let you buy some good conjuration spells.

when i said i had the collassal black soul gem i didnt mean i beat the game, it was part of the mages guild quets, i am MASTER of all the guilds now and i have to shut 1 oblvion gate for each city to continue on with the main quest, its taking forever, i run through the gates cause im invisable but it still takes 2 long.
i thought the oblivion gates were a piece of pi** and i have completed the main quest and are nearly top of all the guilds. for the fighters guild though i had to go in Swampy Cave and kill all the trolls in there of which i have done but when i get to the green arrow on the map nothing happens. All the skeletons on the floor have nothing and when i move them out of the way the green arrow appears to point at the floor somewhere really therefore i am stuck and can't go further, since you have completed the fighters guild what am i meant to do as i am meant to find out what happened to some sort of people of which are obviously dead. PS i posted before about Nirnroots and the reason why we need them well i didn't have any Nirnroots the other day and already i am on 37 not bad hey!

i got this game, and downloaded the wizard's tower from live. it slowed my game down extremely, and i deleted it in about a day. you know the small loads in the wilderness? after i downloaded the spire thing, it took about a minute in some cases. don't know if this happens to everyone, but man, that's annoying.

Your right, I wish I could've said more about this topic but I didn't like reading some of the topics, because it gave some of the adventures away. But I slowed down on Oblivion right after someone bought me another 2month wow card for my birthday. I thought I quit wow for good, but that game just never lets me go.
It's a damn good game! It was part of my live until i completed it (finished at level 30). There was a few things i found wrong with it like the poor A.I and the repetitiveness of it and the slight shuddering but apart from that I'd say it's pretty special. I'd give it 9/10.

hoping that someone will see this message, although no one has posted in over a month. i decided to rent Oblivion from Rogers the other day and got some pretty awesome play out of it. problem is that the disk no longer works, but its got a bunch of scratches on it. there were some on the disk before I got my hands on it and the 360 sounded like it was struggling to load the disk. guessing that the scratches progressively got worse. what im wondering is whether my 360 should be making these loud noises when playing this game. its quite worrysome to hear a machine which is only 2 weeks old to sound like that. maybe it's my set up.. currently i have the xbox on my wooden desk with a fan pointing in its general direction. should I think about exchanging my 360?

However, I master the trick just like Nixon Causin terror, quick damage ya whole era
Funny you should say that because my machine had a few problems with oblivion as well. It wrecked about three copies of it and i couldn't get my money back because Gamestation said that it was a design fault on the 360. I haven't had that problem with any other game so I'd say no, don't change your console.

ya don't do it, i've had one game mess up on the 360 before but the rest is fine. and i've heard of many cases like this. I would assuredly tell you that it's a disk problem without even looking at it. Though you might want to move the 360 away from your fan
Just got back into the game after an 8 month layoff from it....and damn, I don't know why I ever got out of it in the first place....just an amazing experience and it has me hooked all over again.
This is funny, GZA... I also had a loooooong break from this game, for which I do not have a good explanation, but I started playing it again a few weeks ago when I managed some free time. I almost forgot how good this game is and what got me into it in the first place.
Yep...it just has that gaming X-factor that's so hard to come by these days....honestly, as much as I like Gears Of War, even that game doesn't have that X-factor for me (ie, I don't keep playing and playing for hours of end like Oblivion).
PS - The Dark Brotherhood quest where you have to stage a murder was awesome
Yeah, there's The Dark Brotherhood, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, and the Arena....The Dark Brotherhood is the best so far, IMO....do secret assassination missions ever get old?
Just buy the grand soul gems. They're available for sale at most branches of the Mages Guild. It's gonna be a hard task to do if you try to look for them in the wild. There's two out there that I know for sure where you can find: two grand soul gems are on the ground floor of the Chorrol Mages Guild, in the five-tumbler display cases.
