I don't think you can claim that the Xbox is the "king of first person shooters" with a straight face if you're putting PC games in the contest. Clearly, the PC does First-person shooters much better than the Xbox does.
And yes, the Japanese market virtually ignores the Xbox, so the multitude of PS2 games released over there do dominate.

Xbox has all the good Western developed RPG's: KOTOR, Jade Empire, Sudeki, Morrowind, Fable, etc. Whereas Ps2 has the good Eastern developed RPG's such as Final Fantasy. I prefer Western Rpg's b/c they are all about choices, open endedness(not a word but oh well) and developing your character.

KotOR was open-ended? And you dont develop your characters in Final Fantasy?

Eh. Yeah, the PC is the FPS king, there's no disputing that. But of the three consoles, I think so far the 360 has the most going for it in terms of FPSes.
