I was just wondering what would be the next game people were gonna buy for the black suitcase. I'm getting Fable on the 14th. It really sucks that SOOOOOO many good games are coming out in the next 3 months let alone in the month of september.

yeah I have to agree with you on everything. I'm probably going to get Fable also, but I'm not looking foward to this Christmas season. How in the world am I going to play all the up and comming games for the next three months. I'm also waiting for Doom III, and even though it's on PS2; Metal Gear Solid 3. Since everyone's waiting for Halo I don't see why I should mention it. Half Life comes out for the PC in the next couple of months but I'm not sure when it's coming out for Xbox, but I'm waiting for that too.

Got my eye on Chronicles of Riddick & Conflict Vietnam for the moment. However trying to blast through Ninja Gaiden which is the hardest game I have ever played BY FAR. Got R63:BA to play also - that & Full Spectrum Warrior so pretty busy gaming at mo.

No need to mention Halo2/Doom3/HL2 - get in there!! Smiler

Nope I doubt he is. The game, apart from the tasteless but rewarding nudity, looks very solid.

You'd better at least consider looking into Burnout 3. I haven't played it, seen it, or talked to anybody at EA about it, but the 7 or 8 reviews I've just read about it are striking in their overwhelming praise.

I've played a demo at a gamestore and I LOVE the crashes. The particle effects in this game are mind blowing. Although not realistic at all, it still looks astonishing. Imagine having each part of a car (hood, door, top, spolier) made of a 10,000 piece puzzle. When you crash just imagine strapping that car puzzle to a rocket then launching it into the worlds largest Lego Land and that's what it would look like. I read in the OXM that you CAN'T SAVE REPLAYS. MadWhat's up with that? I'm all about replays. Stupid PS2 with their external hard drive capablities, at least make replays for XBOX EA.

Not to suggest I've played a final version of any of those games, I think that trio will keep you busy for a long, long time. Excellent choices, Kyle.

Well, I picked up Burnout 3 and let me tell you I am not the least bit disapointed. I played through about 40/100 of the crash levels without even looking at the clock. I found out last night that one of my buds had also bought it so we played on Live for a while until some friends invited us to R63:BA.

EA's online interface gets annoying from time to time, and some people are having big problems with being disconnected (thankfully I am not one of those few) but other than that online is a blast.

The best online game mode is definately Road Rage. In this mode you've got 3 blue cars trying to race to the end of the map. But, there are 3 red cars who's objective is to take out the 3 blue cars before they can finish. This gets really intense and is extremely fun. I can't wait to get home and play it again.

Burnout 3 could easily hold me off for a month or 2. But now comes the question of Fable. All I need it to do is keep me busy 'til November 9th. Which should be no problem with my interest in RPG's. I don't stop playing RPG's until I beat the game. Which could be a very long time from the sounds of things.

I just bought Burnout 3 today and I can tell you now it's the best arcade racing game EVER. There is absolutely nothing to flaw in it.

And i'm going to get Fable next, I have it on pre-order.
