I've never been a big fan of the series, but I got no.4 yesterday...I don't know. There's just something about the style of play I can't get into. Graphically great. Meh, hope the fans like it.
Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been,
Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene;
As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be,
So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

It could be better... The whole "backtracking" aspect of the game just doesn't work. I'm sick of playing as Dante already.

I have followed the DMC series since it's initial release in October of 2001, through the horrendous disappointment that was DMC 2 in 2003, and the controller-shattering goodness that was DMC 3 in 2005.
