I'm buying... Are you buying? Because I'm buying!
Cool

Seriously, this game looks fantastic and the demo was great fun. So, what's to lose?

I've never been a big fan of the series, but I got no.4 yesterday...I don't know. There's just something about the style of play I can't get into.
Graphically great. Meh, hope the fans like it.

Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been,
Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene;
As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be,
So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

It could be better... The whole "backtracking" aspect of the game just doesn't work. I'm sick of playing as Dante already.

I had the opportunity to play a few levels of this. Beautiful visuals and all but altogether it really is "more of the same". They've obviously added new moves and a new main character, but it doesn't save the game (and franchise as a whole) from being in serious need of new ideas.

I have followed the DMC series since it's initial release in October of 2001, through the horrendous disappointment that was DMC 2 in 2003, and the controller-shattering goodness that was DMC 3 in 2005. I have ordered Devil May Cry 4, it's on the way now, It was a deal priced at $52, seems cool

DMC4 looks the business, but nothing revolutionary...
