Have you guys seen anything on this game? It's Driver, but the second one was not too amusing to me. I loved the first one, one of my favorite PS games. Has anyone seen a video of this game in action?

I believe www.gamespot.com has som rolling demo/video listed, but I haven't checked them out yet. I still wonder when this is actually gonna come out. They seem to have been working on this for ages.

If you have an electronics boutique in your area, they hand out free DRIV3R (un-playable) demo discs.

Yeah, I need to check it out. Unfortunately, the only time I have internet access is at work and the game sites are blocked. Oh well, it's coming out tomorrow, I think I'm going to pick it up anyway.

On second thought, it got horrible reviews. Especially from my most trusted site, IGN. I'm thinking this has been demoted to rental status. What a shame, but I guess after Driver 2 it was kind of expected.

I could never really get into the first two Drivers so I wasnt really expecting too much from this one, especially since it seemed to get developed so quickly.

Well it depends really...If you can put up with a glitchy, rushed game, then you'll like this game. If you are a big Driver fan, like I was of the first one, then I suggest you rent it. Otherwise, pass it entirely.

Well I rented it and it is really really fun!!! It is just like GTA with more cities and some awesome graphics!!

What are up with the reviews from the Mags.

Funny you should mention the reviews of Driv3r because there have been allegations against many publications (such as OXM) that they have been paid off by Atari to give good reviews.

Well im a subscriber for OXM and I haven't got the Mag. yet and it's not in Metacritic so what was the review!!

They gave it around a mid 9 I think. The article that I read also brought into question a lot of other suspect OXM reviews.

I had a look for the story but I couldnt search the IGN news archives and GameRevolution dont keep an archive of their news stories.

Ya OXM does sometimes give bad reviews like Mechasault!! It got a 93/100 which I didn't think it was that good!!

The game is quite the boring one in my opinion.
Don't know how many more 'chase down the vehicle/
motorcycle' levels I could take before ripping out
my eyes with a rusty spoon. Don't get me wrong, the game had great ideas but, it lack on content.
Just glad I didn't buy the game; rented and beat it in a day. Sad. Sad.

Sorry Member 27 but i just got the oxm mag. and they gave Driv3r a 4.8 out of 10!!!

AND Member 27...OXM doesnt have that many (if any) reviews that are not justifiable. It's the best Xbox magazine out there!
