Battlefield 2 needs online multiplay so a live guest can sign in and jet fighters in the maps aswell as helicopters. More game modes would be nice too.
Ya know wot? Ya know whats bloody what!

Yes, a good idea, out of all my thinking i never came up with that. I think really that linking one level with another would be cool as well such as having part of "A Bridge Too Far" and a bit of "Backstab". This would be quite cool really.

I played this again the other day i think on some of the levels especially a Bridge Too Far that you have small bunkers with machine gun turrets in them to defend both bases in a good way but this should be an optional setting and also the respawn times are ridculous.

Does anyone have any difficulty in unlocking achievements for this game. I am currently struggling to get the 4 knife kills without dying but their are other ones that i don't have.

Has anyone passed the level where you have to place explosives on the bridge because i have only succeeded at best at placing three and then losing all the infantry i had, i was wondering if anyone could help us in a walkthrough type of style.

Re: The Gun Turrets to defend the bases.
There are Gun Turrets on all the bases in Bridge Too Far.
The Respawn times are fine. You can't just respawn immediately but sometimes you can. Some respawn times are short less than a second in some cases but as long as 14 seconds. Its just a matter of when you die. That way it can't be predictable for people taking the base.
If they were immediate then you'd never take a base. If they were predictable then you'd bring that element into the game.

Guys,
Is any one supremely dissapointed w/ this game? I just bought it, and I'm MAD..Furious. This game LOOKS beautiful....but the online options are crap. Why can't the interface be as sublime as the one in HALO 2? Addtionally the controls are NOT tight and don't even get me started on the ragdoll physics. Don't get me wrong, I want to love this game, but the physics, the multiplayer shortcomings and the frequent long load times are unforgiveable. Your thoughts?

Personally, I love this game, if mainly for the online play. I think the physics are forgiveable, and the online menus are for the most part pretty good, I thought.
As for changes: 10 second max respawn time, I can understand not wanting it to be predictable, but when I have to wait 14 seconds 2-3 times in a row, it makes me want to shut off the game. 10 seconds is far better.
The time it takes to neutralize and capture a flag could be shortened slightly.
After you die, you just watch the guy who killed you for 3-5 seconds. Why?! I've never understood why they thought this was important. Maybe a quick glimpse of where they are, but several seconds is too long, especially when I could be respawning.
That's all I can think of. This game really is incredible, but with those few minor gameplay changes, it could be even better.
I can't wait for Battlefield: Bad Company.

I do love this game, although their are changes that are required especially the multiplayer requirement that most other games have i think however that this game offers so much strategy, i love the way that someone starts to do something new, then everyone does that (i was the first to impede into someones base and place landmines infront of vehicles) but no matter what strategy you come up with someone else will come up with a new one to counter act the first and so - on. the game is good because one person in the entire team can change the way in which the game is played. as USA, when all the flags were caught i sneaked to flag 4 and caught it and therfore changed the game cos my entire team started respawning there and we caught more flags. Its an awesome strategy. Please feel free to add my gamercard:- YOUR FAT SELF 1

All I can say is theres so much to be discussed concerning this game but its still, with all its online flaws (offlines a pile of shit), one of the best war games out there!! Feel free to join other BF enthusiasts @ www.talkbadcompany.com

I hate the EA Servers crashing i'm sure at least once a day even when nobodys on it. That was what i was on about respawn wise. you get 5 seconds to see where the b*st*rd killed you from and then 15 seconds to respawn and 2 minutes to find out that he's already dead.
