In the recent issue of OXM there is a massive playable demo of the new Microsoft game "Blink 2". I never played the first one but I heard that it was just another dissapointing tedious platformer with a buttload of unused potential. The sequel is nothing but! It has an absolute blast to play and since I havent played the first the "time gimmick" if you will, is completely fresh and new. One of the wonderful things about the game is the awesome amount of customization. The create-a-character is as deep as many sports games out on the market. Really cool stuff! The developers have added a dual story-line where not only do you play as Blinx and his team of Time Sweepers but also the antagonists, The Tom Tom Gang. The latter form of play is more akin to say a stealth action game with platformer elements then the balls-out platform mechanics that the Blinx version of the game implements so well! This is just another powerhouse game from the company that WILL HAVE the best Christmas season EVER!
