I stongly encourage you to try Chronicles of Riddick. I've only played the game for a short time, but it threw its hooks into me in the first couple of minutes, and it was hard to put down. This sucker got virtually no press, but I think it's the next killer app on the Xbox (after Halo, KOTOR, and Pandora Tomorrow). Who would've thought??? I figured we'd have to wait for Fable.... Definitely try this one...

There was a terrific article about the game in a past issue of OXM. It sounded great, but since OXM has a tendency to over-hype games (Brute Force the "Halo killer", True Crime the "GTA killer") I took the article with a grain of salt.

I've been looking at some video reviews and rolling demoes of this game. It looks absolutely stunning. Definetely on my "games to buy" list for this summer.
An 88/100 averige here at metacritic speaks for it self too.

Did anyone manage to snag Chronicles of Riddick for 9.99 at EBGames during Black Friday. They ran out of them the first day, so I didn't get to buy one. Frowner

I'm not really a fan of EB games. There prices are a little higher than those of another used game store, Rhino Video, and I think this may be due to the fact that EB has to pay for G4 Tech TV somehow. And from what I have seen of Riddick the game I am very impressed.

I like eb games. The Chronicles of Riddick movie looked bad and reviewers said it was but there was a different story for the game. Maybe I'll look into buying it.

Thats great and all, but remember the sale ends pretty soon, plus I still can't find any copies of the game.

I have to get back to playing this one, but I spent a couple of hours and was very impressed. haven't seen the movie (which is supposed to be crap), but I'm gonna continue where I left off after I'm done with Halo 2.
